Our bodies were never designed for the onslaught of high-fat,
high-sugar, salt-laden, additive-filled refined foods we feed
them with today. It's no wonder the result of such a diet
impacts directly on major diseases such as obesity, cardiovascular
disease, diabetes, liver disease and cancer.
But today's poor diet can also more subtly influence other
aspects of health such as allergies, fertility and gut disorders.
Research is increasingly showing that quality of diet can
also affect mood, behaviour and cognitive functioning.
Good food can make you feel great and is tasty too
Food should be healthy and natural but also delicious and
appealing, and in that way, enjoyed to the maximum. Good
food in all senses of the meaning for good health.
Good food should be good for the planet
It is all too easy to become selfish when thinking about
our own health, but it is becoming ever more important to
think about what effect our food habits are having on the
rest of the planet.
